I'd like to read your post;
I try to be a good friend,

I'm at a crucial point
In Collins's "Woman in White"!

Please note: I'm still working to correct missing images that were deleted with my G+ account. You should also be aware that I recently got an iPod and am grappling with using it when I comment. Pls frgve unvodabl fngr fumblz!

Ha! I like!
ReplyDeleteNot read any WC - but he has a high profile over here at the moment on account of Peter Ackroyd's biography coming out. He sounds like an interesting chap - I'll have to read some: perhaps, after reading this, The Woman in White.
ReplyDeleteThat biography sounds like one I would really enjoy reading. I'm very interested in learning more about the relationship between Collins and Dickens.
DeleteAlso, it's my understanding that Collins came to Canada and had publishers here. That intrigues me as well.
There's little that can compete with a good book!
ReplyDeleteYou know it!
Deletehaha... nice :)
ReplyDeleteSo...is this the first mystery novel?
ReplyDeleteIt IS the first mystery novel, but does not feature a detective. The detective novel is, "The Moonstone".
DeleteBoth are excellent!
Like this. Terrific.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dave. I was hoping you'd catch, "Forbidden Fruit" (below) over this one.
Deleteenjoy your reading
ReplyDeleteHave you read it? It's one of the best books I've ever read, for sure!
